Throughout the year we offer workshops and labs to the community. We also tailor workshops for schools, organizations and community groups.
What’s the difference between a workshop and lab?
Workshops can have one or multiple sessions, and can take place at an event like the Sisterhood Summit, at locations throughout the NY Metro region, a location outside of NY, or digitally. Workshops are used to creatively disperse information and can take many forms — panel session, lecture, talkback, Q+A, and more. They are also usually inter-generational in nature and can also follow film screenings.
Labs are repeatable one session intensives that are longer and more immersive than workshops. Labs always have a tangible takeaway — a piece of art, writing, etc.
