We had a wonderful afternoon at the HIV/AIDS Community Memorial Rally in Bed-Stuy sponsored by our partner Our Watchful Eye, who spearheaded the unveiling of the red ribbon banner in front of Restoration Plaza on Fulton Street, a very busy pedestrian and vehicle thoroughfare.
We were able to hand out over 100 of our HIV/AIDS “thought cards” which educate about prevention and meet with folks from other organizations who we’ll hopefully have the opportunity to work with in the future.
Our mission includes empowering girls to make better choices for better lives and we’re well on our way. Here are some photos from the event.

Loving the photos, especially of Ms. Sweeney. I love how her face speaks to the gravity of HIV/AIDS that seems to be missing in public conversations nowadays.
